Summary of Terms and Conditions

A non refundable deposit of £500 is required to secure your reservation, with half the balance due 4 months before the date and the final balance to be paid no later than 1 month prior to the event.

Once full payment is received no refunds or re-allocation of monies will be permitted

Accommodation of up to 12 bedrooms can be provisionally secured by the Bride and Groom. The booking shall only be confirmed once your guest has contacted us and paid a £50 non-refundable deposit with the balance due on the day they arrive- All extras incurred by the guest will be charged on check out. All bedrooms not secured by your guests 3 months prior to your wedding will be released for general sale.

The Derby Manor Hotel Wedding Terms and Conditions must be signed at the time of confirmation

Price increases may be applicable if in the next calendar year, ask your wedding planner for more information.

Estimated numbers of day guests and evening guests must be confirmed at the time of booking. Final numbers must be confirmed one calendar month prior to your wedding. Numbers may increase but not decrease below 10% of that originally estimated at your time of booking.

The Derby Manor reserves the right to set minimum numbers of guests attending a wedding/function or catering for selected menus during these events.

If you unfortunately have to cancel your booking, the hotel will retain the confirmation deposit of £500 plus any further payments made as per terms above. There will also be further cancellation charges of the estimated account if the hotel is unable to re-let the accommodation. Charges will be as follow, less than 6 months- 50%, 5 months – 60%, 3 months – 75%, 1 month – 100%

The Derby manor Hotel reserves the right to charge for remedial costs to reinstate rooms should any of the following occur- Smoking in a bedroom or any other area that is not a designated smoking area, breakages rendering the room incomplete to resell to another guest, specialist room cleaning including carpet shampooing if required.

Upgrades will be charged accordingly. Please ask our wedding planner for further details and costs.

Packages can be upgraded but not subtracted from the minimum price applicable per person.

The Wedding brochure can be altered at any time

The Management reserve the right to amend the programme without prior notice being given

The client will be responsible for any damage caused in public areas by the client or their guests, agents, employees., and indemnity against third parties as a result of negligence.

No access (Supervised or otherwise) will be given to any accommodation room to anyone other than the registered key holder, this particularly applies to the Bridal suite on the night of the Wedding.

The accommodation rooms will be available from 3pm check in with a 12pm check out time.

food or beverage is to be brought onto the premises without the express permission of the hotel, please note that charges would be applied for any items brought to the hotel, such as corkage.

The Hotel recommends that an insurance policy is taken out. This can be arranged through an insurance broker, ensuring reimbursement of the cancellation charge in the event of cancellation as a result of most causes.

If you celebrate your Special day with us and have Exclusive use where you have the evening reception here with an evening buffet- WE WILL SUPPLY THE DJ- FREE OF CHARGE

• Cake Stand & Knife
• White table linen, crockery and glassware
• Personalised menu cards and place names

• Option to take advantage of fixed rate room stay of £120 per room for your guests (Executive double room includes Full Breakfast)
